Liomesses was founded in 1910 by a group of local Irishmen. The club's name is a reference to the Liffey, a river that flows through Dublin, Ireland. Liomesses played in the Isthmian League from 1923 to 1977, with a brief spell in the Southern League in the early 1960s. The club was relegated to the Spartan League in 1977, but returned to the Isthmian League in 1981.
Liomesses reached the FA Cup first round in 1962, losing 2-1 to Leyton Orient. The club also reached the FA Trophy first round in 1973, losing 2-1 to Enfield.
Recent seasons
