History
Mocidade Alegre de Landim was founded in 1952 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football club in their community. The club quickly became a force in local football, winning the Campeonato Carioca Série C in 1978.
In the 1990s, Mocidade Alegre de Landim experienced a period of decline, but the club has since rebounded and is now one of the leading clubs in the Campeonato Carioca Série B2.
