Nitesh was founded in 2017 by Nitesh Singh, a former professional footballer who played for clubs such as Mumbai FC and Air India. The team started out in the Mumbai District Football League and quickly rose through the ranks, winning the league in their first season. In 2019, Nitezh moved to the Mumbai Football League, the top tier of football in Mumbai. The team finished in third place in their debut season.
