The Northampton Town Ladies & Girls First Football Team is a women's football team based in Northampton, England. They currently play in the East Midlands Women's Regional Football League Division 1 South.

History

The team was founded in 1992 and has been playing in the East Midlands Women's Regional Football League since 2004. They have won the league title twice, in 2010 and 2018.

The team also competed in the FA Women's National League Division 1 North from 2013 to 2016, but were relegated after three seasons.

East Midlands Women's Regional Football League

The East Midlands Women's Regional Football League is a regional football league for women's teams in the East Midlands of England. It is the second tier of women's football in the region, below the FA Women's National League.

The league was founded in 2004 and currently has 16 teams. The season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other twice.

The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the FA Women's National League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the East Midlands Women's League.

The current champions are Leicester City Women.

The league is sponsored by East Midlands Chamber.
