Oakham United is a football club based in Barleythorpe, Oakham, Rutland, England. The club competes in the Peterborough & District League Premier Division. The club is a FA England Accredited Football Club affiliated to the Leicestershire and Rutland County Football Association.
History
The club was formed in 2011 as the result of a merger between Rutland Rangers and Oakham Imperial. The club played in the Peterborough Premier League until the 2014–15 season, when they won the Premier Division title and the Presidents Premier Shield, which earned them promotion to the United Counties League Division One.
The club finished seventh in their first season in the United Counties League, and have since established themselves in the division. In the 2021–22 season, they finished fourth, their highest ever league finish.
Ground
The club's home ground is Newton Fallowell Meadows, which has a capacity of 1,000. The ground was built in 1999 and is shared with Oakham Cricket Club.
