Old Pond was founded in 1975 by a group of friends who met at the Old Pond pub in Brighouse. The club initially played in the Brighouse & District Sunday League, but they moved to the Calder Valley Sunday League in 1980.
Old Pond have won the Calder Valley Sunday League title on three occasions, in 1992, 2004, and 2019. They have also won the league cup on four occasions, in 1993, 2004, 2010, and 2019.
