Onslow Dads FC
Onslow Dads FC is a football team for fathers and mothers of children who play for Onslow Football Club in Guildford, Surrey.
The team was formed in 2016 with the aim of providing a social and competitive outlet for parents who wanted to continue playing football after their children had started playing.
The team currently has around 50 players, ranging in age from early 30s to late 50s. They meet once a week to train and play matches against other local teams.
Fundraising
Onslow Dads FC also raises money for Onslow Football Club. In 2021, they raised over £1,000 by holding a fundraising match at Aldershot Town Football Club.
The match was played between two teams of Onslow Dads players, with the "Blues" winning 5-4.
The money raised was used to support the Onslow Boys and Girls teams, helping to pay for things like kit, training equipment and travel costs.
