PJ Wanderers FC is a social football team based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. It was founded in 2013 by a group of childhood friends who shared a love of football. The team currently competes in the Garden Social League, a Sunday league competition for amateur footballers in Selangor.
History
PJ Wanderers FC was founded in 2013 by a group of childhood friends who shared a love of football. The team's first season was in the Garden Social League's Division 2. They finished the season in second place, narrowly missing out on promotion to Division 1.
In the 2014 season, PJ Wanderers FC were promoted to Division 1. They finished the season in fourth place, and qualified for the playoffs. However, they were knocked out in the semi-finals by eventual champions, Kelab Bola Sepak 3B.
In the 2015 season, PJ Wanderers FC finished the season in third place in Division 1. They also reached the final of the Garden Social League Cup, but were defeated by Kelab Bola Sepak 3B.
In the 2016 season, PJ Wanderers FC finished the season in second place in Division 1. They also reached the final of the Garden Social League Cup again, but were defeated by the same opponents, Kelab Bola Sepak 3B.
In the 2017 season, PJ Wanderers FC were promoted to the Premier Division of the Garden Social League. They finished the season in seventh place, and qualified for the playoffs. However, they were knocked out in the quarter-finals by eventual champions, Kelab Bola Sepak 3B.
In the 2018 season, PJ Wanderers FC finished the season in sixth place in the Premier Division. They also reached the semi-finals of the Garden Social League Cup, but were defeated by eventual champions, Kelab Bola Sepak 3B.
