NK Pomorac 1921 is a Croatian football club based in Kostrena, a suburb of Rijeka. The club was founded in 1921 and currently plays in the Croatian third tier, 3. HNL West.
The club's name means "mariner" or "seaman" in English, which reflects Kostrena's maritime tradition.
NK Pomorac have played in Druga HNL, the second tier of Croatian football, on several occasions. They finished as runners-up in the 2009–10 and 2011–12 seasons, but were denied promotion due to financial problems.
In October 2014, NK Pomorac was dissolved due to financial troubles. However, the club was re-established in November 2014 and started competing in the Second League of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, the sixth tier of the Croatian football league system.
Recent history
NK Pomorac 1921 won promotion to the Croatian third tier in the 2016–17 season. They have since finished in mid-table in each of the last three seasons.
The club's home ground is the Stadion Pod Kašteletom, which has a capacity of 1,000.
