A 11 a side team deep in the heart of Exeter, born from the expansion of the club Skeenz after a £2 Billion buyout from Saudi Backed Investors. Portland Panthers are now the greatest team in Exeter.

After being promoted into National League South, the Panthers will now try to achieve their dream of European Football as they progress to the quarter finals of the FA Cup where they will face Manchester City.

Lance Abbott is the captain and fan favourite with his 475 goals for the club in 74 appearances.

The Portland Panthers Football Club is a football (soccer) team based in Exeter, England. The club was founded in 1972 and currently competes in the South West Peninsula League Premier Division.

History

  • The club was founded in 1972 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together.
  • The club initially competed in local leagues, but in 1992 they were promoted to the Devon League.
  • In 2002, the club was promoted to the South West Peninsula League Premier Division, where they have remained ever since.
  • The club's most successful season was in 2007-08, when they reached the semi-finals of the FA Vase.
