Portsmouth FC is a football (soccer) team from Portsmouth, England. They currently play in the National Football Youth League (NFYL), which is the top youth league in England.

History

Portsmouth FC was founded in 1898 and have played in the Football League since 1908. They have won the FA Cup twice, in 1939 and 2008.

The club went into administration in 2010 and were relegated to League Two. They were saved from liquidation in 2013 by the Pompey Supporters Trust.

NFYL

The NFYL was founded in 2017 and is the top youth league in England. It is divided into three divisions: Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2.

The Premier League is made up of the top 40 youth teams in England. Division 1 is made up of the next 40 teams, and Division 2 is made up of the remaining teams.

The NFYL season runs from August to May. The top two teams in each division are promoted, and the bottom two teams are relegated.
