History
Preston Wanderers were founded in 1902 by a group of local businessmen. They joined the Mid Lancashire Football League in 1903 and have been members of the league ever since.
The club's most successful period came in the early 1920s, when they won the Mid Lancashire Football League on three occasions. They also reached the final of the FA Vase in 1922, but lost to Spennymoor United.
Preston Wanderers have struggled in recent years and have been relegated from the Mid Lancashire Football League on two occasions. However, they are currently in the top half of the table and look set to challenge for promotion this season.
