Pure FC was founded in 2017 by a group of football enthusiasts. The club's first season was in the Mumbai District Football League Second Division. The club finished the season in third place and was promoted to the First Division.
In the 2018-19 season, Pure FC finished the Mumbai District Football League First Division in second place. The club also reached the final of the Mumbai Football Association Cup, but lost to Air India.
In the 2019-20 season, Pure FC finished the Mumbai District Football League First Division in third place. The club also reached the semi-finals of the Mumbai Football Association Cup, but lost to Mumbai City FC.
