Qormi FC Academy is a football (soccer) academy based in Qormi, Malta. It is the youth academy of Qormi FC, a professional football club that currently plays in the Maltese National Amateur League.
The academy was founded in 2000 and has since produced a number of talented players, including Ryan Fenech, who has played for the Malta national team.
History
The academy was founded in 2000 by a group of parents and coaches who wanted to provide a high-quality football education for young people in Qormi. The academy started with just a few teams, but it has grown rapidly over the years and now has teams for boys and girls of all ages.
The academy is affiliated with the Malta Football Association (MFA) and its coaches are all UEFA-qualified. The academy also has a number of sponsorships from local businesses.
Current Teams
The academy currently has teams for boys and girls of all ages, from Under-6 to Under-19. The academy also has a number of futsal teams.
The academy's Under-19 team is the most successful team, having won the MFA Youth League in 2019. The academy's Under-17 team has also been successful, having reached the final of the MFA Youth Cup in 2020.
