Royton Athletic Football Club is a Sunday League football team based in Royton, Greater Manchester, England. They currently compete in the Hyde, Oldham & District Sunday Football League First Division.
History
The club was founded in 1904 and has played in a variety of leagues over the years. They won the Lancashire Combination in 1914-15 and the Manchester League in 1923-24.
The club's most successful period came in the 1970s, when they won the Lancashire Amateur Cup in 1972-73 and the Manchester Amateur Cup in 1973-74.
In recent years, the club has been playing in the Hyde, Oldham & District Sunday Football League. They finished as runners-up in the league in 2019-20.
