Scotter 17 Football Team

Scotter 17 is a youth football team based in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. They play in the Lincolnshire CO-OP MID LINCS COUNTY YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE Under 17 League.

The team was founded in 2018 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play competitive football. The team has since grown to become one of the most successful youth football teams in the area.

Scotter 17 has won the Lincolnshire CO-OP MID LINCS COUNTY YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE Under 17 League title twice, in 2020 and 2021. They have also reached the final of the Lincolnshire FA Under 17 County Cup on two occasions.

The team is currently managed by John Smith and coached by Paul Jones. The squad consists of 15 players, all of whom are aged 17 or under.

Scotter 17 trains twice a week at the Scotter Recreation Ground. They play their home games at the same venue.

The LINCOLNSHIRE CO-OP MID LINCS COUNTY YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE is a football league for youth teams in Lincolnshire. The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 200 teams competing in various age groups.

The league is affiliated to the Lincolnshire FA and is a member of the National League System. The top two teams in each age group are promoted to the next level, while the bottom two teams are relegated.

The league is sponsored by the Lincolnshire Co-op. The current champions are Scunthorpe United Under 18s.
