Shintre FC is a football club based in Mumbai, India. The club was founded in 1972 and is named after its founder, Shri. Vasant Shintre. Shintre FC is a member of the Mumbai District Football Association and competes in the MDFA Elite Division, the top division of football in Mumbai.
History
- Shintre FC was founded in 1972 by Shri. Vasant Shintre.
- The club has won the MDFA Elite Division championship twice, in 1984 and 2017.
- Shintre FC has also won the MDFA Mayor's Cup once, in 2018.
- The club has produced several players who have gone on to play for the Indian national team, including Gouramangi Singh and Lenny Rodrigues.
