History
Songdo Magpies FC was founded in 2016 by the Songdo International City Development Corporation (SICDC). The club's first season was in 2017, when they competed in the K3 League Challenge. The Magpies finished the season in third place, missing out on promotion to the K3 League by two points.
In 2018, Songdo Magpies FC finished the season in first place, earning promotion to the K3 League. The Magpies finished the 2019 season in sixth place, and the 2020 season in ninth place.
