Southern Softies Football Club

The Southern Softies Football Club is a non-league football club based in Ascot, Berkshire, England. The club was founded in 1972 and currently plays in the Thames Valley Premier League.

History

The club was founded in 1972 by a group of friends who wanted to play football in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The club initially played in the Reading Sunday League, before moving to the Thames Valley Premier League in 1995.
The club has won the Thames Valley Premier League title on three occasions, in 2000, 2006, and 2018.
The club has also reached the final of the FA Vase on two occasions, in 2001 and 2007.

Ground

The Southern Softies play their home games at Ascot Racecourse. The ground has a capacity of 2,000 spectators.
