Southwark A Football Club

Southwark A Football Club is a Sunday league football team based in the London Borough of Southwark, England. The team was founded in 1975 as Southwark Sports and initially played in local Sunday leagues. In 1982, the club joined the London Spartan League, reaching the Premier Division in 1984. In 1988, the club changed name to Southwark Borough.

The club's most successful period came in the late 1980s, when they reached the FA Vase semi-finals in 1989 and the FA Trophy first round in 1990. However, the club folded in 1990 after being ejected from the London Spartan League following misconduct rules.

The club was revived in 2000 and currently plays in the Orpington & Bromley District Sunday Football League Fourth Division.
