History
Tickhill Red Rose Football Club was founded in 1976 by a group of local enthusiasts. The club initially played in the Doncaster & District League, before moving to the Sheffield & District Senior League in 1983.
The club has enjoyed some success in recent years, winning the Sheffield & District Senior League Cup in 2012 and 2015. The club also reached the final of the Sheffield & District Senior League Shield in 2014.

Bessacarr FC junior summer league football league
Tickhill Red Rose Football Club also runs a junior summer league football league for children aged 5-16 years old. The league is open to all children who live in the Tickhill area.
The league runs from June to August each year. The games are played on Saturday mornings at the Tickhill Sports & Social Club.
