History
Tigres Black was founded in 1970 by a group of friends who were passionate about football. The club's first home ground was a field in the Morro do Castro neighborhood of Niteroi. In the early years, Tigres Black competed in local amateur leagues.
In 1980, Tigres Black was promoted to the Campeonato Carioca Série B1, the third tier of Brazilian football at the time. The club remained in Série B1 until 1985, when it was relegated to Série B2.
Tigres Black has spent the majority of its history in Série B2. However, the club has made a few appearances in Série B1, most recently in 2008.
Recent Season
In the 2022 Campeonato Carioca Série B2, Tigres Black finished in 11th place out of 16 teams. The club's top scorer was Paulo Vitor, who scored 10 goals.
