Woodingdean Wanderers were founded in 2015. They started playing in the Division 2 of the Brighton, Worthing And District Football League. In their first season, they finished in third place and were promoted to Division 1.
In the 2016-17 season, Woodingdean Wanderers finished in second place in Division 1. They were promoted to the Premier Division, but they were relegated back to Division 1 after one season.
In the 2022-23 season, Woodingdean Wanderers are currently in fourth place in Division 1.
