ZVC Samba99 Gent is a Belgian football (soccer) team based in Gent. The team was founded in 1999 and currently competes in the Belgian Fourth Division.
History
ZVC Samba99 Gent was founded in 1999 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football team that was both competitive and fun. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Belgian amateur leagues and in 2017, they were promoted to the Belgian Fourth Division.
The team has a strong youth system and many of their players have gone on to play for professional clubs. In recent years, ZVC Samba99 Gent has been one of the most successful teams in the Belgian Fourth Division, finishing in the top three in each of the last three seasons.
