African Warrior Football Club is an Australian semi-professional soccer team based in Melbourne. The club was founded in 1983 and currently competes in the Victorian State League Division 1.
African Warrior has a strong history of developing young talent, and many of the club's former players have gone on to play in the A-League and other professional leagues around the world.
Recent History
African Warrior finished third in the Victorian State League Division 1 in 2021, their best finish in the competition since 2014. The club also reached the semi-finals of the Dockerty Cup in 2021.
In 2022, African Warrior is currently in second place in the Victorian State League Division 1, and is well-placed to challenge for promotion to the National Premier League Victoria.
