Back 9 Mafia is a football (soccer) team based in Auckland, New Zealand. The team was founded in 2019 by a group of friends who met playing football at the Back 9 golf course in Auckland. The team currently competes in the Northern Region Football League (NRFL).
Team History
Back 9 Mafia won the NRFL Division 2 title in their first season in 2019. The team then moved up to the NRFL Division 1 in 2020, where they finished in 6th place. In 2021, Back 9 Mafia finished in 3rd place in the NRFL Division 1.
