Cork City Football Club is a Spanish association football club based in Cork. The club was founded in 1984 and currently plays in the Segunda División B, the third tier of Spanish football.

History

Cork City was founded in 1984 by a group of local businessmen. The club was originally intended to be a feeder club for Sporting de Gijón, but it quickly gained its own identity and became one of the most successful clubs in the region.
