Criminal Intent was founded in 2010 by a group of friends who wanted to create a competitive football club in Beenleigh. The club started out in the lower divisions of the Brisbane Premier League and has steadily progressed over the years. In 2022, the club won the Brisbane Premier League Reserves Championship.

Criminal Intent is currently competing in the Brisbane Premier League 2023 season. The club is currently in 5th place on the table.
