FC Mighty Rocks

FC Mighty Rocks is a football team based in Johannesburg, South Africa. They were founded in 2009 and currently play in the SAB Regional League, which is the fourth tier of South African football.

The team is named after the Mighty Rocks informal settlement in Johannesburg, where many of the players grew up. The team's motto is "From the hood, to the world."

History

FC Mighty Rocks results

FC Mighty Rocks were founded in 2009 by a group of friends from the Mighty Rocks informal settlement. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Johannesburg amateur leagues, and in 2017 they were promoted to the SAB Regional League.

In their first season in the SAB Regional League, FC Mighty Rocks finished in third place. They have continued to improve in recent years, and in 2022 they reached the semi-finals of the SAB Regional League Cup.
