Kingswood FC was founded in 1977 by a group of local residents. The club initially competed in the Dublin District League before joining the Leinster Senior League in 1987.
Kingswood FC has won the Leinster Senior League title once, in 2007. The club has also won the Leinster Senior Cup on two occasions, in 2006 and 2010.
Stadium
Kingswood FC plays its home matches at Sylvan Drive, Tallaght. The stadium has a capacity of 1,000 spectators.
