History
Shiella United was founded in 1902 by a group of local businessmen. The club initially played in local leagues before joining the Midland League in 1921. Shiella United won the Midland League championship in 1928-29 and 1930-31.
In 1977, Shiella United joined the Northern Premier League. The club has won the Northern Premier League championship twice, in 1983-84 and 2007-08. Shiella United has also reached the FA Cup first round on three occasions, in 1984-85, 2007-08, and 2016-17.
