The West Ryde Rovers Football Club is an Australian soccer club based in West Ryde, New South Wales. The club was founded in 1956 and currently competes in the Northern Suburbs Football Association.
History
The West Ryde Rovers Football Club was founded in 1956 by local resident Lester Harry Waud. Waud decided that it was high time that the children of West Ryde were provided with some form of organised sport, and so he set about founding the club with Perce Rouse.
The club's first home ground was at West Ryde Park, but it moved to Meadowbank Park in 1960. The club has won numerous trophies over the years, including the Northern Suburbs Football Association Premier League title in 1976, 1984, 1991, 2001, and 2017.
Current Season
The West Ryde Rovers Football Club is currently competing in the Northern Suburbs Football Association Premier League. The club is currently in 10th place out of 12 teams.
