Avon Youth League
The Avon Youth League is an amateur football league for boys and girls under the age of 18 in the Avon area of England. It was founded in 1974 and currently has over 100 member clubs.
Divisions
The Avon Youth League has a number of divisions for different age groups and skill levels. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by Division One, Division Two, and Division Three. There are also a number of junior divisions for younger players.
Season
The Avon Youth League season runs from September to May. Each team plays each other team in their division once, home and away. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the next division.
Cup competitions
The Avon Youth League also runs a number of cup competitions for its member clubs. The most prestigious cup competition is the Avon Youth League Cup, which is open to all teams in the league. Other cup competitions include the Avon Youth League Challenge Cup, the Avon Youth League Trophy, and the Avon Youth League Plate.
