2025-26 - 66 Teams across 9 Divisions
The Capital Girls League is a girls’ grassroots competition serving Greater London. It was launched as a joint venture between Middlesex FA, London FA and the Amateur FA, and is run by a volunteer committee.
The league is specifically for girls’ teams rather than a mixed junior competition. Its divisions begin at Under 8 level and continue through older youth age groups, with clubs from areas including Barnet, Ealing, Enfield, Islington, Kensington and Ruislip represented across the league programme.
The Capital Girls League uses regional groupings at the younger ages, including north and west sections, before moving to named divisions in later age groups. This gives clubs a structure that reflects the spread of teams across London without suggesting a fixed boundary for every division.
Examples of clubs with teams in the league include Actonians, Alexandra Park Youth, Barnet Nightingales, Kensington Dragons and Vicky Park Rangers. These examples are not a complete list of participating clubs.
Families looking for a girls’ team can use the league’s club and division pages to identify nearby clubs, then contact the club directly about current spaces and the relevant age group. FA Full-Time remains the place to check live fixtures, results and tables.
Capital Girls League provides league and club information. TeamStats is an independent football directory. It is not the league or The Football Association.
