Introduction
Div 3 is an amateur football league in Belgium. It is the fifth-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian Division 2.
The league was created in 2016 following an overhaul of the Belgian football league system which saw the number of professional clubs reduced to 24. As a result, from the third level and below only amateur clubs remain.
The league is divided into two regional groups, Group A and Group B, with each group containing 18 teams. The top two teams in each group at the end of the season are promoted to the Belgian Division 2, while the bottom two teams in each group are relegated to the Belgian Fourth Division.
The current champions of Div 3 are K. Patro Eisden Maasmechelen.
