Introduction

The Evo Stik Northern Premier Division One South is an English football league that is currently the eighth tier of the English football league system. It is one of two divisions in the Northern Premier League, the other being the Evo Stik Northern Premier Division One North.

The league consists of 22 teams, and each team plays each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Evo Stik Northern Premier Division, while the bottom four teams are relegated to the Northern Counties East League.

History

The Evo Stik Northern Premier Division One South was founded in 2007, when the Northern Premier League was split into two divisions. The original 22 teams in the division were divided into two groups of 11, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the final. The final was won by Stafford Rangers, who defeated Matlock Town 2-1.
