Glasgow and District Youth Football League
The Glasgow and District Youth Football League (GDYFL) is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 5-18 in the Glasgow area. It was founded in 1920 and is one of the largest youth football leagues in Scotland.
The GDYFL has over 100 affiliated clubs and each season, over 10,000 players participate in its leagues and competitions. The league's headquarters are located at Mount Florida Stadium in Glasgow.
League Structure

The GDYFL's league structure is divided into age groups, from Under-5s to Under-18s. Each age group has a number of divisions, with the top division being the Premier Division.
The league also runs a number of cup competitions, including the Scottish Youth Cup, the Glasgow Cup, and the Glasgow District Cup.
Recent Successes

The GDYFL has a proud history of producing talented players who have gone on to play professional football. Some of the league's most notable alumni include Kenny Dalglish, Graeme Souness, and Gary Caldwell.
In recent years, the GDYFL has continued to produce top-quality players. In the 2021-22 season, the league had 11 players represent Scotland at youth international level.
