About Kent FA Recreational Cup
Social 11-a-side football in Kent
The Kent FA Recreational Cup is an 11-a-side social competition organised by Kent FA for local recreational teams. It was introduced in the 2024–25 season as a flexible competition, giving teams a route into sanctioned football without the commitment of a traditional weekly league programme.

The cup has used a group stage followed by a final, rather than a full home-and-away league campaign. University of Kent Staff and New Dads United are examples of teams that have taken part; they are not a complete list of participants.
Who it serves
The competition is intended for adult recreational sides and community-based teams. University of Kent describes games taking place every few weeks, while New Dads United uses the cup alongside its own monthly 11-a-side programme. These examples illustrate flexible participation arrangements rather than a universal match schedule.
