Maidstone Invicta Primary League

The league is recognised within the network of Kent FA-affiliated youth competitions. A Kent FA league listing records its foundation in 1981, giving the competition a history stretching back more than four decades.

Saturday and Sunday age groups

The usual playing day changes as teams move through the league. Under-7, under-8 and under-9 football is scheduled for Saturday mornings, while the under-10 and under-11 sections play on Sunday mornings.

This split is useful for parents and clubs comparing local competitions, as the Maidstone area has several youth leagues covering different ages and weekend time slots. The Invicta Primary League is specifically focused on the five age groups from under-7 through under-11.

Development, league and cup football

The youngest sections include development football; the official FA Full-Time competition hub identifies under-8 development divisions. As teams progress through the age range, the same hub provides access to divisions and cup competitions, with separate filters for age groups, league tables and cups.

Because divisions and participating teams change over time, FA Full-Time is the appropriate place to check which section a team is in and to find the latest fixture or result.
