About the Northern Suburbs Football Association

The Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA) is a community football (soccer) association in the northern suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales. It was founded in 1957 and currently has over 30 member clubs and 18,100+ players. The NSFA oversees competitions for players of all ages and abilities, from juniors to seniors.

The NSFA's goal is to help its members experience the joy of football by making it simple, fun and rewarding. The association offers a variety of programs and services to support its members, including:

  • Competitions for all ages and abilities
  • Coaching and development programs
  • Refereeing courses
  • Grounds and facilities
  • Social events and activities

The NSFA is also committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all players. The association has a code of conduct that all members must adhere to, and it also offers a variety of programs to promote diversity and inclusion in football.

Competitions

The NSFA offers a variety of competitions for players of all ages and abilities. These include:
  • MiniRoos (for players under 7)
  • Junior Mixed (for players under 12)
  • Men's (for players over 12)
  • Women's (for players over 12)
  • Over 35 (for players over 35)
  • Over 40 (for players over 40)
The NSFA also has a representative team, the Northern Tigers FC, which competes in the Football NSW National Premier League (NPL). The Northern Tigers FC is made up of the best players from the NSFA, and it aims to compete at the highest level of football in New South Wales.
