Introduction
The ??S? is an amateur football league in the Netherlands. It is the highest level of amateur football in the country, and is organized by the KNVB. The league consists of 18 teams, and the winner of the league is promoted to the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of professional football in the Netherlands.
History
The ??S? was founded in 1954. The original name of the league was the Hoofdklasse, but it was renamed to the ??S? in 2010. The league has been won by a variety of clubs, including Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, and Feyenoord.
