About Swansea University Intramural Football League
Read more →The Swansea University Intramural Football League (IML) is a recreational football league for students and staff of Swansea University. The league consists of 16 teams who compete in a league format over the course of the academic year.
Games are played on a Wednesday and Sunday, with the season running from September to April. There is also a chance for teams to compete in the League Cup, with the losing Semi-Finalists and the teams knocked out in the last 8 competing in the Plate and Bowl competitions respectively. All 16 teams are automatically entered into the cup.
After the season close, a select squad of players will be chosen to go on to face Cardiff University Intramural Football League in the Welsh Varsity.
