The Hanger Winter League

The Hanger Winter League is a six-a-side football league that takes place in London during the winter months. The league is open to players of all abilities, and matches are played on artificial pitches.

History

The Hanger Winter League was founded in 2005 by a group of friends who wanted to play football during the winter. The league has since grown to become one of the largest six-a-side football leagues in London, with over 100 teams competing each season.

Format

The Hanger Winter League action

The Hanger Winter League is a round-robin competition, with each team playing each other once. The top four teams at the end of the season qualify for the playoffs, with the winner being crowned league champions.

Venues

The Hanger Winter League is played at a number of different venues across London, including The Hanger, The O2, and The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
