The Leicester Sunday Football League is an amateur football league based in Leicester, England. It was founded in 1921 and currently consists of 10 divisions, with over 200 teams participating.
The league is affiliated to the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA. The top division of the league, the Premier Division, is currently sponsored by Anstey Sports Bar.
History
The Leicester Sunday Football League was founded in 1921 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially consisted of just 8 teams, but it has since grown to become one of the largest amateur football leagues in the country.
The league has been sponsored by a number of different businesses over the years. The current sponsor is Anstey Sports Bar, who have been sponsoring the league since 2021.
