Women's Independent Soccer League (WISL)

The Women's Independent Soccer League (WISL) is a proposed Division II professional women's soccer league in the United States.

The league is still in its early stages of development, but it is targeting a 2024 launch. WISL will be a league of independent clubs, not franchises, built on the international model. This means that clubs will have more control over their own operations and finances.

WISL is also committed to providing opportunities for women in all aspects of the game, including playing, coaching, and ownership. The league's mission is to "create a sustainable professional women's soccer league that provides opportunities for women to achieve their full potential on and off the field."
