Home league match played on 26 October 2013.

Another league match against Riverside Plate and after losing to them in our first encounter earlier in the season, we hit back in this match with an outstanding performance as we hit 11 without reply for a thumping victory. We started with a 3-1-4-2 formation.

               James

    Craig, Tam, Sharpy

              Fyffee

Barry, Bellzo, Ryan, Darren

         Liam, Mitch

Subs; Ecky, McBee, Bogger, Jack, Gareth

We started the match well and were putting on the pressure early on with a couple of decent chances and eventually took the lead 20 minutes in when Liam got on the end of Bell’s cross to head into the top corner. They then had a couple of half chances to score but missed them and this was as close as they would get all game. We then stepped it up a gear and Bellzo got the second when he raced onto Sharpy’s long through ball to slot the ball past the keeper. Mitch then got his first of the day after some good lead up play Ryan played the through ball and the big man finished brilliantly. Liam then got his second to make it 4-0 after a great long ball from Jamsie as we went in at half time with a comfortable lead.

HT 4-0

The second half went the same way as the first with us totally dominating and Mitch made it five before then turning provider for his strike partner Liam to grab his hat-trick and it wasn’t long before Mitch then got on the scoresheet again to also get his hat-trick. The front two of Mitch and Liam were awesome all game and both thoroughly deserved their hat-tricks. The floodgates now opened and we added further goals from Darren, McBee, Ecky and young Jack to make it an impressive 11-0 victory.

FT 11-0
