Horror injury spoils game !

Lets start with the headline!

After speaking to the Busolona manager he has informed me that their goalkeeper has broken his Tibia and Fibia bones in his leg and had to undergo an operation to pin the bones back together! ouch!

He would like to say thanks for the on-field help from our team and supporters. special mention to michelle and angeline for their efforts. I have told him to send our best wishes to the goalkeeper, and  hope he has a speedy recovery.

Michelle stepped in to compile the stats for the week, while Stato recovers from illness! And she has made my life easier by doing a short match report.  Thanks Michelle.

Firstly I would like to wish Terry(the goalkeeper) a quick recovery and send him our best wishes.
The Team was communicating a lot better this week calling for the ball and closing the gaps that have been so obvious in past games between defence and midfield.  At the start of the game there were a lot of silly passes, but when they settled down it was a good 1st half with Mitchell showing that he can be a good player, he had the other teams best player up against him and he really had a hard job of getting the ball from him, but he did do well and was the MOM. It was a close one though because Adam was playing well too. He was just out on a few goals as they were just going over the bar, each time he was getting lower but still no goal.He also assisted both the goals that were scored 1 was by Mitchell and the other was by Stewart Rogers.
Peter Lesslie had a bit of a bad time though, he was pulled down on the pitch by another player which started a small punch up which resulted in the 2 players getting yellow cards.
There was a lot of fancy feet on the pitch though with John showing he still can do some sleek kicks, and Lucas had a bit of a tussle while sitting on the floor with 2 other players trying to get the ball from him which they didnt get! In the end he made it look easy and funny, but i guess it was hard keeping the ball while 2 others wanted it and were determined to get it, they chose the wrong person to pick on there he wouldnt give that ball up for anything!  After he was finished playing with them he then passed it to Adam which set up the 2nd goal which Mitchell scored.

In short ( cause after all the game was cut short ) It was a lot better to watch, the tea/coffee club were there as usuall and it was good to see angeline there even though she was not well
keep it  up Chadwell.

Thanks Chelle

We will have to wait and see if the result stands or not? The committee usually decide the out come of these issues. The pitch conditions have been reported to the council and hopefully they will do something about it before someone else gets hurt!
