Key Moments Of Game.

4th Min. GOAL !!  Horrific mistake by Megyesi after slip sees the defender robbed, and the striker fires past the advancing Wells.

8th Min.  Megyesi sends Wright free with a fine ball upfield, the striker cooly back heels the ball into space but lack of back up sees it come to nothing.

25th Min GOAL !! WRIGHT grabs his first goal since mid September after Wain picks out Lytham who puts the ball up round the back of the defence for the striker to beat his man and fire the ball across the keeper and into the far corner of the net.

30th Min. GOAL !! AFC begin to impose themselves on the League whipping boys. Wright puts a fine cross to the back post where WAIN notches his SECOND goal for his new club one in each Cup Competition.

35th Min. GOAL !! A comfortable 2 goal cushion as AFC go through the gears. Megyesi sends a fine ball splitting the hosts defence. LYTHAM latches onto the pass, beats his marker before rounding the keeper and slotting the ball home.

44th Min. GOAL !! Brampton have been dangerous from the long throw, and eventually make one count right on the break. The ball headed home in off the crossbar giving the hosts a timely foot hold into the game.

HALF TIME  Brampton Rovers F.C....2  AFC Whitecotes.....3   NO CHANGES AT HALF TIME  BUT WALTON CALLS FOR MORE OF THE SAME WITH AFC HAVING A STRONG WIND IF THIER FAVOUR THIS HALF.

46th Min. GOAL !! Instant reward and a class goal from Player Manager PAUL WALTON Megyesi finds Lytham up the wing with a pass, the striker beats his man before cutting the ball back to the edge of the 18 yard box where a sublime curling shot leaves the keeper grasping thin air.

47th Min. GOAL !! AFC reach a comfort zone with a freak of a goal. Danny Brown cuts the ball back to BETTNEY whose cross loops over the stranded keeper and drops appologetically into the net for 5-2.

51st Min. Substitution for Brampton Rovers, ex Whitecotes midfielder Josh Aitkin comes on for the hosts.

55th Min. GOAL !! AFC again start to implode not for the first time of the season. They get into a comforable position and then take take the foot off the gas. A dreadful mistakes sees Wells mishandle and the ball is fired home.

62nd Min. Substitute for AFC, but not without incident. Mitchell comes on as substitute forn Walton, but is Yellow Carded for entering the field of play before being signalled to by the Referee.

75th Min. Substitution for AFC. Bonson enters the fray in place of the tiring impressive Wright.

80th Min Substitution for AFC. Whitehead takes to the field in place of Mick Wain.

82nd Min. Yellow Card for Brampton after complaining too strongly for a corner the Referee deemed a goal kick.

87th Min. GOAL !! Brampton get to within a goal as time begins to run out. Yet another hessitant episode in the visitors defence leads to a goal.

88th Min. GOAL !! Lytham is crudely hacked down as he breaks towards goal, leading to a 2nd Yellow for the hosts. MITCHELL steps up a bends a free kick beating the diving keeper on his near post and wrapping up the tie.

FULL TIME  Brampton Rovers F.C....4  AFC Whitecotes....6   AFC now move into YET ANOTHER Quarter Final in a Major Cup Competition. The record however is a POOR ONE being beaten in ALL previous encounters. This will prove just as difficult as it is away to Eckington Boys F.C. Who cruised to a comfortable 4-1 win against Whitecotes in November. The WINNERS will meet Tibshelf Town or FC Britannia in the Semi Finals at Clay Cross Town F.C. "I Want Pet Food Stadium"
