Another fantastic performance from the Blue Birds!

Another game, another clean sheet and another fantastic display from the girls as Aylsham U10 Blue Birds came away with a deserved 4–0 victory over Costessey U10.

The scoreline tells part of the story, but what really stood out was the teamwork, character and development the girls continue to show week after week.

?? Viv Once again, when called upon, Viv produced an amazing save to keep the score at 1–0. It was a huge moment in the game, and from there the girls went up the other end and made it 2–0. The importance of Viv to this team is absolutely vital. She gives the girls confidence from the back and, when her team needs her, she continues to deliver.

?? Amelia Amelia is really growing in confidence with every game. Her confidence in her position, her role within the team and her relationships with her teammates are developing brilliantly. Seeing her grow each week and show more and more of her personality, both on and off the pitch, has been a real pleasure.

??? The Bash Sisters – Scarlett & Edith Then we have the Bash Sisters! ?? The understanding these two are developing is unreal. They are beginning to really understand what it means to be a defensive partnership — when to cover, when to challenge and, most importantly, how to work together.

Two clean sheets in two games at this level is an unbelievable achievement, and these two deserve huge credit for the way they are defending as a pair.

? Matilda Matilda simply did not stop running! Her energy levels were superb. I don't think she let a Costessey player pass her all game!

Her ability to win the ball and immediately turn defence into attack is so important to this team. She gives us energy, determination and that ability to drive us forward.

?? Stevie Our passing playmaker! Stevie showed her excellent passing range throughout the game and was unlucky not to come away with a few more assists.

But she did get herself a fantastic goal, making a brilliant run to the back post and finishing from a wonderful cross.

A great reward for a really positive performance.

?? Jessie Jessie's intelligence on the pitch is unreal. She understands her position, reads the game really well and is showing more and more confidence in taking players on.

And for our first goal, she decided to turn into David Beckham! ??

A fantastic corner that set the Blue Birds on their way.

?? Holly What an amazing start to the season Holly is having! She seems to be getting better and better with every game. Taking players on, turning and twisting, driving down the wing and putting dangerous crosses into the box.

She is becoming a real threat and is a joy to watch when she gets running at defenders.

?? Immy Immy showed amazing character in this game. She took a few knocks, but every time she got straight back up and went again. Her ability to run at defenders is terrifying for the opposition.

And then came a wonder goal, which she chested in!

Superb work, Immy. What a moment.

? Lou What a game from Lou! Two goals and two completely different skills.

The first was all about hard work and pressing — closing the defender down, winning the opportunity and then absolutely banging it in.

The second was something else.

One of the best finishes I've seen in a long time. A brilliant first-time finish that showed real composure and technique.

What a performance, Lou! ??

?? What a Team Four goals, another clean sheet and, more importantly, another game where the girls showed how much they are developing as a team. The football is improving, the understanding between the players is growing and the confidence is there for everyone to see.

But what makes this group so special isn't just the football. It's the way they support each other, work for each other and keep pushing themselves.
