The Tunbridge Wells Foresters under 10’s Tandridge Spartak team played away this weekend against Foresters Mustangs The game ended in a 2-0 victory for the ‘away team’.
Foresters started well and created several opportunities but could not breakdown the home defence so at half-time the scoreline was 0-0.
In the second half the Under 10’s started quickly and scored a goal in the first minute when Matthew Horlock crossed for Erik Anderberg slot home. Midway through the half Spartak extended their lead when Johnny Phillips scored following a pass from Erik Anderberg. The Mustangs then pushed forward but the Spartak defence held fast to keep their clean sheet of the season.
The boys one again put in a good performance and played some excellent football during the course of the game.
